On Feb. 19, 2020, Dr. Lauren Gardner, director of the Center for Systems Science and Engineering, and two of her doctoral students, Ensheng Dong and Hongru Du, published correspondence in Lancet Infectious Diseases detailing the creation of the global dashboard that grew into the Coronavirus Resource Center.
