State Reporting Frequencies

Since the start of the pandemic, U.S. states and territories have used different approaches to reporting data about COVID-19 cases, deaths, tests, and vaccines. The lack of uniformity has complicated efforts to track SARS-CoV-2 in near real time as it has spread across the United States. That tracking has been aggravated further as states have been reducing the frequency of reporting.
